Miss Holland girl is 9 months old today...wow. Everyone was right when they told me how fast it would all go. We love each stage as it comes more than the next. Holland is really starting to develop a great personality and we are so incredibly lucky to have her in our lives and our family.
At 9 months Holland:
- She still loves food. And I mean LOVES. Her favorites include chicken nuggets, macaroni & Cheese (with pepper), Nutri Grain bars, oatmeal, muffins, chicken off mommy's plate, turkey basil pasta, chicken pepper pasta, pumpkin pie, mashed potatoes (with pepper), bagels, etc etc etc. We did find one more food she did not like, canned peaches.
- She is walking around the house along furniture and while pushing her baby stroller.
- She is 16 lbs
- She wakes up singing in her crib, and likes to do so standing on her bumper until we get her out.
- She only ever cries if she falls down.
- She still LOVES her movies as is evident by all the pictures. She has added a couple new favorites, the new Tinkerbell, Ice Age 3 and Up. D and I love it when she will add a movie to the list she likes.
- She still prefers Mommy over everyone else, but Megan and Daddy come in a close second.
- She still takes two naps a day - sometimes even three.
- She sleeps through the night, going down around 730p and waking up between 8-9a.
- She loves water, especially if we ler her drink it out of our glass. She will down a large glass if we will let her.
- She loves bathtime, and has officially moved into the big tub and out of the small baby tub. She will play in there forever.
- She has an obsession with shoes. Always wants to play with them and look at them. Taking after Mommy already :)
- She still loves Rafi and falls asleep with him sucking her thumb every night. However, she only sucks her thumb once she is in her crib and sees Rafi.
- She hates getting her diaper changed and lotion put on and will squirm like crazy until we are done doing either of those things.
- She likes reading books, as long as we will allow her to flip the pages.
- She loves peek-a-boo and will always laugh if anyone starts playing it with her.
- She still hates the carseat, and we cannot wait until 1 year when we can flip her around.
- She loves being around her neices and nephews and laughs harder at them than anyone.
- She says DaDa, MaMa and ba ba and other than that just babbles, sings and talks all day long.
We love this little girl more than anything and can't wait for each and every day to watch her learn and grow.

Happy 9 Months to Holland! :) She is such a cutie!
she is so cute. facing forward in the car seat makes a world of difference. My kids all just giggled on their first car ride. And you need to feed that girl some veggies!! I'm teasing, I just didn't see any in her fav's.
I agree on the veggies. She does eat tomatoes in pasta...but I haven't really fed her any by themselves. Maybe I will tackle that today.
