Rafi

As you all know, H takes her rafi EVERYWHERE and cannot sleep without her Rafi's. He is definitely a staple in this house.

Valentine's Day 2011

Valentine's Day was amazing this year as always. Growing up, Valentine's Day was so much fun. My parents started a tradition called the Valentine's Fairy. All day long the "fairy" would ding dong ditch our house and leave little treats/Valentines at the door for the kids. We would be so excited each and every time the doorbell would ring. This was Holland's first year that the fairy visited, and she fell in love!! You could hear her screams down the street each time she would open the front door and see a treat sitting there waiting for her. It was such a joy to watch. Darren had never heard of a "Valentine Fairy" before...but he fell in love with the idea after seeing H's face all night long. The fairy started off the day, by heart-attacking the house, and H's bedroom door. When she woke up from her nap and saw all of the hearts, she about died. Then she ran around the whole house pointing out all of the other hearts to me all day long. It is so much fun to have kids to continue traditions with.

My Valentine's

H2....woah

Holland turned 2 this past weekend. I cannot believe that my little girl is already two years old. Time really flies when you have kids. We woke up and sang happy birthday and ate cookies for breakfast. Then we headed down to Megan's house, where h was showered with love. Megan made her the CUTEST cookies bouquet, had balloons and H got to open some presents from Grandma and Meg's family. After that we (Me, H, Madi, Grandma, Meg and Malone) went to Color Me Mine and let the girls paint some pottery. I enlisted the artistry skills of Megan and Grandma to make "special" plates for my girls. Then we went home a little while later and had dinner and cake with Daddy and then watched Despicable Me until way too late. H had such a great day. It was very low key, but so much fun.

Ireland Pics

I know I know...Ireland is now 6 weeks old and I have not posted about her yet. She doesn't really do much yet...although she loves sleeping all day and keeping mom up all night. That is about the only trick she has learned :) She is turning into quite the little chunk...well really just her face is, just like her big sister. Although I do not think she looks anything like Holland. Maybe this one will take after me in the looks department, since Holland is ALL Daddy. We love having her around...she definitely makes our family complete.

In this pic, H had been sharing her toys with Ireland :)

Is this not the best bedhead you have ever seen?

Trendsetter

Most people who know me, know I pride myself on my style and the style of my children. Fashion is in my blood. But here's a little sneak peak into the reality of my children's fashion sense when we are at home alone....

Aren't the zebra rain boots, the perfect accessory for the uneven piggies and pajama top? I think so. Grandma even thinks she belongs on the Paris runways :)
