Hot Summer Days...

Nothing is better on hot Summer days than eating popsicles and playing in the water. Yesterday it got into the 90's finally, so we decided to do both with Spencer and the kids. We bought this water snake, and the kids had so much fun running through it, and spraying each other with the water.

A walk in the park...

D and I took H for a walk to the local park the other night. It was the first time we let her run around in the sand and just have fun...and to my surprise she did not get super dirty (hurray!). She preferred being on the grass, and found this perfect Maple leaf and walked around with it the rest of the night.

Fun in the Sun...

Last week we had Chloe, Jack, Justin and Spencer over to go in H's little swimming pool and play some outdoor games. We had so much fun. Holland would dive right into the swimming pool, stick her head under water, then flop her little body back over the egde of the pool to the grass. She is my little daredevil fish, and I love it. Jack had broken his elbow earlier in the week, so it took all we had to keep him and his cast out of the water. He found his own ways to have fun though.

Big Daddy Spencer

Rain, rain and more rain.....

As I sit here typing this, it is once again raining….nothing new. Where exactly is this Global Warming Al Gore so kindly warned us of (ha ha ha)? So, H and I have been spending most of our time indoors playing. We finally got sick of being inside and decided to let H run around in the rain one afternoon. She absolutely loved it. This girl is such a water baby, any way she can get it, she wants it.
