18 Months

I cannot believe Holland is already 18 months old. Time is flying by. I wanted to document what H is doing at this stage in her life....

-She still LOVES food. She will eat any and everything, including the spicy spicy spicy food that I love. And she loves to help me in the kitchen or just sit there and watch me.

- She is obsessed with shoes. She tries on about 20 pairs a day, and is constantly bringing me shoes and saying, "shoes, shoes".

- She loves pointing out babies in pictures, books and on tv.

- She still loves being outside more than anything else.

- She sleeps from 8:30/9-10 almost every morning.

- She can say many words, and will repeat anything you say to her, including: dog, cat, baby, shoes, milk, boat, car, oreos (weird but true), bye bye, hi, duck, ball, mommy, dad, book, yes and no.

- She is still a Momma's girl and D is still working on changing her mind :)

- She climbs everything from couches to chairs to stairs to people. She is our little monkey.

- She is fearless. She will do anything, even if she is not supposed to. When ridng the rides at Lagoon, she holds her arms in the air and says, "Wheeee".

- She hates getting her hair done, but will always let me do it.

- She loves people, especially Uncle Spencer (who always gives her wafers) and Aunt Megan.

- She loves singing songs. Patti Cake, Itsy Bitsy Spider and Twinkle Twinkle Little Star are her favorites.

- She LOVES reading books, and brings me several books throughout the day. She will hand me the book, then crawl into my lap and wait for me to start reading.

- She knows her eyes, mouth, nose, belly and head. She also loves to smell things; flowers, candles, food, etc.

- She loves to talk on the phone and play on the keyboard like she is on the computer.

- She loves to play dress up, especially in Mommy's shoes and her princess crown.

Holland is a pure joy to have around. She learns new things every day. It is so exciting to watch her learn and grow. I am so anxious to watch her interact with her little sister, and to teach her new things as she grows. We are a lucky family to have her in it.
