10 Months

Wow, this month just flew by and I forgot to post about Holland girl at 10 months.

1. Holland can stand up from a sitting position all on her own without any assistance from me or the couch!

2. Holland still loves food. Anything we give her, she loves. Her favorites are brocolli, black beans with brown rice, Cafe Rio pork salad, Megan's Gingerbread cookies and more brocolli :) However, she will eat ANYTHING!

3. Holland loves to babble in a low scratchy voice and thinks it's funny when anyone talks to her in the same voice. It reminds me of the "bad guy" characters voices in the cartoons she watches.

4. Holland LOVES bathtime and anything to do with being in water. If she hears the sink or tub, she comes running (well crawling). She is going to be a little water baby this summer in the pool, just like her mom.

5. Holland is still obsessed with Rafi (her bedtime stuffed animal that does not leave her crib) and sucking her thumb, but still only sucks her thumb when in bed and sleeping cuddled with Rafi (hooray, our trick worked).

6. Holland is a Momma's girl and will come to me over anyone. Daddy is a close second with Megan and Jimmy right behind.

7. Holland loves to babble all day long. We are woken up in the morning to Holland babbling in her crib.

8. Holland's new favorite movie to watch is "Cars". She would watch this all day long if we let her. She smiles when Lighting comes on the screen and laughs everytime she sees Mater.

9. H is still tall and skinny. Growing out length wise of her 6-12 month pants, but not nearly fitting into the next size waist...even with the elastic tabs pulled all the way. Therefore she mostly wears dresses and stretchy pants.

10. Holland loves blankets and will bury her head in anyone she sees. We have a blanket rack that she frequently plays near just wrestling in all of the blankets.

11. Holland is learning to play patty cake and is just starting to wave goodbye.

12. Holland has become so snuggly and we are loving it. She will come lay on our chests and gives hugs and kisses all day.

Darren and I love this little girl more than words itself, and cannot believe we are closing in on almost a year with her. I am excited for everyday I get with her, and cannot wait to see her grow and change throughout the years.
